Is Soundcore better than Beats? ›

Our Verdict. The Anker Soundcore Life Q35 Wireless are slightly better headphones than the Beats Solo Pro Wireless. The Anker are more comfortable, have a customizable sound profile thanks to their companion app's graphic EQ and presets, and have a better performing ANC.

The Beats Fit Pro are satisfactory for neutral sound. They have an excited, v-shaped sound profile that delivers extra thump and punch while vocals and instruments are clear and bright. That said, even though they have an app, it lacks sound customization features, so you can't easily adjust their sound to your needs.

They have the Apple H1 chip

Of course, the main reason you're paying a bit more for the Beats Fit Pro than the Beats Studio Buds is because the former have the H1 chip. That allows them to access hands-free Siri as well as spatial audio support on Apple Music, Apple TV and FaceTime.

Soundcore by Anker Motion 300

The Soundcore Motion 300 is Anker's answer to that Bose speaker. Around the same size as the Bose, it doesn't sound quite as good, but it sounds impressive for its compact size and costs only $80.

Sound quality, especially for its size and price, is surprisingly good. The Anker Soundcore doesn't just play music; it fills your shower with rich, clear sound that can rival more expensive models. It's like having a mini-concert in your bathroom.

On the downside, I think the case feels cheap compared to the AirPods, there's no wireless charging, and there's no speaker on the case for the "find my" app. In addition, the case charges using USB C instead of lightning (btw, it's a USB C to USB C cable included with them and there's no power brick included).

On your Beats Fit Pro or Powerbeats Pro earphones, you can set which earbud's microphone is active. You can also set the microphone to automatically switch to the other earbud when you remove an earbud.

Even though they've been out since 2021, the Beats Fit Pro are still the best offering from Apple's other headphones brand. They present a ton of value for the price, partly because they mirror the Apple AirPod Pro's excellent connectivity, generally regarded as the best earbuds for pairing with an iPhone.

Physical Damage or Blockages

Carefully clean headphones with compressed air, an alcohol wipe, or dry cloth. If headphones still sound muffled, inspect for internal damage. Worn speakers or circuitry will require professional repair or replacement.

Make sure that the headset plug is securely connected and that the socket is clean and clear. Check that the microphone—located on the back of the remote—isn't blocked or covered. Make sure the straight-end of the plug is connected to the headphones and the angled L-shaped plug is connected to the audio source.

My biggest complaint about the AirPods Pro 2 was that they just wouldn't stay in my ears. I sweat a lot, including in my ears, so pencil-style buds have always been a problem. The first thing I noticed about the Beats Fit Pro was that they fit in my ears near perfectly — and they stayed there.

Beats headphones tend to be rather pricey, especially compared to other brands. The quality of the more recent models we've tested better matches their premium price point. However, they still feel a bit expensive for what they offer. Noise cancelling not on par with the competition.

Our Verdict. The Apple AirPods Pro Truly Wireless are better overall headphones than the Beats Fit Pro True Wireless. The Apple headphones are more comfortable and feel better built, and their ANC offers a significantly better noise isolation performance.
